Successful first charter flight from Zhangjiajie to Bangkok

 

On March 28, the first charter flight from Zhangjiajie to Bangkok was successful. At 12:20 the same day, 131 Thailand tourists successfully arrived at Zhangjiajie by the first charter flight. There is a first airline from Zhangjiajie to Southeast Asia due to this successful Thailand tourist charter flight, to realize Zhangjiajie as the center for that Huaihua, Changde and Western Hunan Prefecture of Wuling Mountains Area directly organizing the tourist groups to go abroad from Zhangjiajie, and creating the two-way grouping travel of Zhangjiajie and Bangkok.

There are totally 6 entry and exit charter flights of Bangkok - Zhangjiajie - Bangkok, flight time: March 28, April 2, 11, 12, 16 and 17; model of airplane: Boeing 737-300 aerobus, Boeing 763 aerobus and McDonnell 80 aerobus, every flight can have a capacity of 132 tourists. Departure time from Bangkok: 9:00 a.m., time to arrive at Zhangjiajie: 12:20 noon; departure time from Zhangjiajie: 13:20, arrival time: 16:40.

In recent years, our city has launched a series of promotional policies and promotional activities in Southeast Asia, and Zhangjiajie’s popularity rapidly rises in Thailand. In July last year, the municipal government signed a tourism cooperation framework agreement with Tourism Authority of Thailand.

In the first flight ceremony, Vice Mayor Liang Bi said that Thailand will become the third largest tourist source importing country of Zhangjiajie after Korea and Malaysia along with successful Zhangjiajie overseas market development and traffic improvement. Zhangjiajie - Bangkok direct flight will further strengthen the tourism exchange and trade and cultural exchange in Zhangjiajie and Thailand, and rise Zhangjiajie international reputation and the tourism internationalization level.
